To kick start wedding plans, please go through the following procedures.
- The couple must be a member of Collective for not less than six (6) months.
- The couple is recommended by a connect group leader.
- At least six (6) months notice is required from the date of inquiry.
- The couple must complete the Marriage Course (7 sessions before marriage and 3 sessions after marriage).
Note: If the couple does not meet any of the prerequisites above, they can still write in to us via the "Wedding Inquiry" form below.
- Inform and consult your connect group leader/team leader about your marriage registration (ROM)/Holy Matrimony plans.
- First Meeting - Make an appointment with the wedding coordinator, together with the connect group leader of the couple.
- The wedding coordinator will register the couple into the Marriage Course (10 sessions in total - 7 before marriage and 3 after marriage). There are two (2) batches every year on a class-by-class basis. It is a prerequisite for couples to complete the course.
- Second Meeting - After the couple have gone through the premarital course, make an appointment with the wedding coordinator to go through the wedding and ROM procedures - the wedding/ROM dates, wedding venue and the things to be prepared by the couple.
- Third Meeting - The wedding coordinator will go through the Holy Matrimony rehearsal with the couple on the night before the actual day (unless otherwise stated).
Things to take note:
* There will be at least three (3) meetings with the wedding coordinator unless required otherwise.
* The ROM must be held within a week before the Holy Matrimony (if not on the same day).
- Physical IC/passport.
- Passport sized photo (with blue background).
- Go to JPN office and tell them you want to sign at Collective in Subang Jaya. Both parties have to be present. We suggest going to the Shah Alam branch because we report directly to them.
- Get the ROM form JPN KC01F (only JPN has the form).
- Fill up and glue passport photos onto form.
- Go to Commissioner of Oath and pay RM10 (Pesuruhanjaya Sumpah). Both parties must be present. The Shah Alam JPN Office has a Commissioner of Oath just outside the building.
- There will be a RM20 fee payable to JPN.
- IMPORTANT: Pass the form to us at Collective with the RM20 receipt.
Checklist:
* JPN KC01F Form.
* Photocopy IC of Husband, Wife, and two (2) witnesses. Scanned and printed copies are not accepted by JPN.
* Receipt of RM20 from JPN.
- Physical IC/passport of husband, wife and two (2) witnesses (as submitted earlier).
- Vows and rings (if doing exchange of vows and rings).
- Arrive 20 mins earlier and gather at Collective.
- Once all parties are present, contact the wedding assistant.
- Handover four (4) physical ICs for wedding officiant verification purposes.
Note: The IC must not be changed within a month after signing. - Signing will take place at Pr. Keith Tay's office at 2nd floor of the office block.
Note: Access is via staircase only. Please inform us if there are any physically challenged/disabled persons attending. - Pr. Keith's office can fit a maximum of 12 guests due to space restriction.
Note: This is inclusive of couple, witnesses, guests and photographers. - The signing process takes around 15 mins.
